Welcome to Bassetlaw Fashion Services for Disabled People

We are a small charity based in North Nottinghamshire offering a bespoke clothing and alteration service for people with disabilities or special needs.

Bassetlaw Fashion Services for Disabled People was started in 1987. It's aim was simple - to provide a much needed clothing service for those who, due to a disability, had found difficulty obtaining good quality clothing that suited their everyday requirements.

Accessibility, comfort, style and above all cost are all problems faced in the past by our service users and their carers. By offering a bespoke clothing and alteration service we have been able to meet our aim and produce individual garments of a high quality which cost no more than high street prices.

To achieve this we continue to subsidise the price of all items with money donated to us from charitable trusts.
